Wie funktioniert der Zinseszinsrechner?
Der Zinseszins ist eine der wirkungsvollsten mathematischen Grundlagen für den langfristigen Vermögensaufbau. Werden Erträge nicht ausgeschüttet, sondern dem Kapital gutgeschrieben und wieder angelegt, erwirtschaften diese Zinsen im nächsten Zeitraum erneut Zinsen — ein exponentielles Wachstum entsteht.
Die mathematische Formel
Die Berechnung des Endkapitals mit regelmäßigen monatlichen Einzahlungen kombiniert die klassische Zinseszinsformel mit der Rentenendwertformel:
Dabei ist A das Endkapital, P das Startkapital, r der Jahreszinssatz, t die Laufzeit in Jahren und PMT die monatliche Sparrate.
Gerechnetes Beispiel: ETF-Sparplan
Szenario: Sparplan mit 5.000 € Startkapital, 250 €/Monat, 7 % p.a., 20 Jahre
- Startkapital: 5.000 €
- Monatliche Sparrate: 250 €
- Gesamte Einzahlungen: 5.000 € + (250 × 240) = 65.000 €
- Endkapital nach 20 Jahren bei 7 % p.a.: ca. 145.000 €
- Zinsgewinn (Zinseszins): ca. 80.000 € — mehr als das Einzahlungskapital!
- Verdopplungszeit nach 72er-Regel: 72 ÷ 7 ≈ 10,3 Jahre
Die Macht der Zeit beim Zinseszins
Der größte Hebel beim Zinseszins ist nicht die Rendite, sondern die Anlagedauer. Wer mit 25 Jahren beginnt und bis 65 spart, hat mehr als doppelt so lange wie jemand, der erst mit 45 beginnt — bei identischem Zinssatz und gleicher Sparrate führt das oft zu einem vier- bis fünffach höheren Endkapital.
